1. How did his video resume help Trent?
There was a huge viewer population that was being reached, and

2. What did the employer say about the video with regard to hiring Trent?
He said he wouldn't have ended up hiring him because he wouldn't have noticed him as much if it was one of the 50 paper resumes.

3. What advantages does a video resume have over a paper resume?

Most companies and Bosses get paper resumes, and no video resumes. A video resume could show more creativity and energy, and extra work put in to making it.

4. What did you like about these video resumes?
They were more creative and gave room for more information to be given, and they showed personality of the person.

5. What did you dislike?
People can go overboard or be weird.

6. What is your opinion of the quality of the video?
The quality of ben's video was a little bit poorer than some of the others, because it was a little blurry and shaky.

7. What would you do to make your video better than these?

Make sure that the sound is equal and the camera isn't shaking and the lighting is good.

8. Which video did you like best?
I liked the last video the best.

9. WHY did you like that video best?
I liked it because it shared a little bit more information than the rest, but not much. It also wasn't creepy like the first one.

10. Which did you like least?
I didn't like the first one.

11. WHY?

The movie looked like the girl's pictures were from a horror movie. I found them very disturbing, and she didn't have good examples of her work.

12. At this point, thinking about the videos you just saw, and what you wrote about yourself yesterday, what ideas do you have for your promotional video.

Maybe I could pick a certain skill I have and promote it like I want to work for somebody or sell that skill to someone, like cooking, baking, or something.

  1. I agree that while the Photoshop woman DID demonstrate that she was creative, she did not in any way show any Photoshop skill.

    I would hope that her video, while an attention grabber, was accompanied by written material such as a resume and Photoshop examples, or maybe a web site with further related information.
